Emerald Coast Rehabilitation, PA, is the solo medical practice of Marinella F. Monk, MD, and is located in the Medical Office Building on campus at the Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast.
Doctor Monk is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and a diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management.
Doctor Monk practiced studied and practiced medicine in France until she came to America and qualified to practice medicine in America by passing a series of examinations and completing a four-year residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Prior to practicing medicine in Destin, Florida, Doctor Monk was the Medical Director of Houston Rehabilitation Institute in Texas.
Doctor Monk was formerly a professional musician, a harpist, and worked as the resident harpist with the Monte Carlo National Symphony.
Doctor Monk has written two books. The first was "You Are Not Alone", and the most recent is "Gentle Therapy".
